Wildkit:

Wildkit jumped and turned right side up as Snowstrip walked out of the nursery, quickening her pace towards Thistlestar and stopping him in his tracks. Wildkit looked back at Nightkit, who bore a triumphant smile. Nightkit smiled at Wildkit as if he'd won. "She's going to go tell Thistlestar that it was your fault. You just watch half-blood!" Nightkit spat, turning around, his back facing Wildkit. Wildkit sighed and looked back in Thistlestar and Snowstripe's direction, trying to hear what they were saying. She heard Snowstripe say two words, Wildkit's fault, not catching the word she'd said before that. Wildkit frowned and hung her head, sneaking out of the nursery.

Wildkit climbed up the steep slope that surrounded the camp and made her way into the forest, keeping low to the ground. /If that's how my clan is going to be to me then fine!/ She thought with a snarl. Wildkit found a small burrow and squeezed through it, unaware of small yellow eyes that stared at her. Something bit her ear, extremely hard and uncat-like. Wildkit jumped up, spinning around, her fur bristled and ears flat, one bleeding. A pair of jaws grabbed her scruff, rolling her over. /Fox pup?/ She thought as she dodged the pup's next bite. Wildkit scratched the pup's nose, making it yelp and cower away.

Wildkit spat at the fox pup and shot out of the burrow, falling down the steep ledge and scurring into the nursery, breathing hard. Thistlestar and Snowstripe were still talking and Wildkit sighed, limping back to the back of the nursery and laying down in heap, away from the other cats and kits. She leaned against the wall, closing her eyes but not falling asleep.
